Python and OpenSees
StructPlus software is capable of performing linear analyses using its internal solver. It can generate matrices for frame and plate systems and solve large-scale matrices using Intel-based infrastructure.

For nonlinear analyses, it utilizes the Python version of OpenSees. OpenSees is an open-source software framework developed at UC Berkeley. Follow the steps below to set up this infrastructure:
- Download and Install StructPlus
- Download and Install Python 3.12.10 (Do not install a newer version; uninstall if already present)
Ensure that the options 'Install launcher for all users' and 'Add Python X.X to PATH' are checked:

- Run the Command Prompt (CMD).

- To install OpenSees, run the command
py -m pip install openseespyin the Command Prompt.

- Verify the installation by entering the commands highlighted in blue.
